This Privacy Policy explains how Insurancy Agency Group LLC ("Insurancy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit insurancy.com, use our quote tools and quizzes, or communicate with us. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.
We built Insurancy so you can shop for life insurance without pressure - you can run quotes and take our quiz anonymously, and we only ask for contact information when you choose to take the next step.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you request a quote, take a quiz, apply for coverage, or contact us, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, state of residence, health and lifestyle details relevant to life insurance (for example, tobacco use or medical history), desired coverage amounts, and beneficiary information.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive technical information when you visit - IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with our tools - collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
Information from other sources. If you start an application, we may receive information from insurance carriers, underwriting and identity verification services, and public or commercially available databases used in the insurance application process.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Generate and display life insurance quotes you request;
- Prepare and submit applications to the insurance carriers you choose;
- Communicate with you about your quote, application, or policy by phone, email, or text message (see Section 4);
- Provide customer support and respond to your questions;
- Improve our website, tools, and educational content;
- Comply with insurance regulations and other legal obligations;
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse of our services.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only as needed to serve your request and run our business:
- Insurance carriers - to obtain the quotes you ask for and to process applications you choose to submit;
- Licensed partner agencies, brokers, and agents - if your needs are best served by a product or specialist outside our own offering, we may refer your request, including your contact and quote information, to a licensed partner who can follow up and assist you;
- Affiliated companies and brands under common ownership with Insurancy - so we can service your request across our family of companies;
- Service providers who operate our business (website hosting, analytics, communications platforms, e-signature and document services), bound by confidentiality obligations and permitted to use your information only to provide services to us;
- Legal and safety recipients - when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public;
- Business transfers - if Insurancy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. If any sharing described above is considered a "sale" or "sharing" under an applicable state privacy law, you may opt out at any time using the contact details in Section 12.
Your text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never part of any sharing described in this section. See Section 4.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
When you provide your mobile phone number through a quote request, quiz, or other form and agree to be contacted, you consent to receive text messages from Insurancy at the number you provided. These messages may include responses to your inquiries, quote follow-ups, application and policy status updates, appointment reminders, and occasional information about our services.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent. Rejoin any time by replying START.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be sold or shared with any third parties. The partner sharing described in Section 3 is done to deliver the service you requested and never includes your text messaging opt-in data or consent. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never sold.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Phone and Email Communications
If you ask us to contact you, we may reach you by phone or email about your quote, application, or policy. Calls with our team may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping; where the law requires, you will be notified on the call. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and you can ask us to stop calling at any time.
6. How Insurance Carriers Use Your Information
When you submit an application, the insurance carrier you selected uses your information for underwriting - evaluating eligibility and pricing. Carriers may verify information through third-party sources such as medical information bureaus, prescription databases, motor vehicle records, and identity verification services, under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy notice of any carrier you apply with.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your progress in our tools, measure site performance, and understand which content is useful. We use analytics services and may use advertising platforms that employ cookies or pixels to measure campaigns and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can limit ad personalization through your device or ad-platform settings. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out signals.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
You can always:
- Reply STOP to end text messages;
- Use the unsubscribe link to end marketing emails;
- Ask us to stop calling you;
- Ask us to delete or correct your information.
9. Data Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor security requirements. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information for as long as needed to serve you, meet insurance record-keeping requirements, and comply with the law, then delete or de-identify it.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 (information about children may appear in an application only as beneficiary details provided by an adult). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to other websites, including insurance carriers and educational resources. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy applies only to Insurancy.
